STAR Transit will now offer MOD/same day rides in Mesquite beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1.
- Same day service and scheduling is available Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
- Customer request ride by calling 877-631-5278 and pressing 5; Our goal is to arrive within 15-20 minutes and provide service.
- Advanced scheduling available same day only.
- Travel allowed within the Mesquite travel zone only.
- DART’s Lake Ray Hubbard Transit Center (6151 Duck Creek Drive, Garland, TX 75043) is part of the Mesquite travel zone.
- Fare structure:
- Rides within Mesquite travel zone = $3.00
- Qualified Seniors 60+, Veterans, Disabled Riders = $1.50
- This is a shared ride service with trip purpose freedom.
- Riders can go anywhere within the Mesquite travel zone.
- Passenger age requirement = 13 and above.
