STAR Transit offers same day trips in limited areas via the STARNow service. Trips may be booked using the STARNow app or by calling 877-631-5278.
The app allows riders to book and pay for same day trips in Mesquite, Balch Springs, Kaufman, Terrell, Forney, Seagoville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill and Duncanville. Pick up and drop off points must be inside these zones. Wait time is based on vehicle availability. Fares range between $1 and $2. Service operates Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Mesquite 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Mesquite, Balch Springs & Terrell).
