STAR Transit offers same day trips in limited areas via the STARNow service. Trips may be booked using the STARNow app or by calling 877-631-5278.
The app allows riders to book and pay for same day trips in Mesquite, Balch Springs, Kaufman, Terrell, Forney, Seagoville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Hutchins, Lancaster and Wilmer. Pick up and drop off points must be inside the designated zones. Wait time is based on vehicle availability. Fares range between $1 and $2. To have Uber as a potential ride option, there must be a payment method (credit/debit card) on file or purchase a STAR Transit bus pass. Payment method must be set up before booking the trip. No cash accepted on Uber vehicles.

Mon. – Fri., 6:00 am – 8:00 pm (Mesquite)
Saturday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Mesquite, Balch Springs, Terrell)
