Cancellations & Changes

CANCELLATION POLICY:
STAR Transit requires one (1) hour cancellation notice before scheduled pick-up time. Less than one (1) hour notification is considered a No-Show.  Failure to cancel may result in the loss of transportation privileges.

CHANGES:
Changes to existing trips must be made no less than two (2) business days prior to the scheduled pick-up time and will be granted based on time and space availability. Having an existing appointment on a particular day does not guarantee that we will have a bus available to take you to a different location or at a different time.

NO-SHOW:
STAR Transit buses will wait five (5) minutes at each scheduled pick up point for customers. Customers who are more than five (5) minutes late or fail to meet the bus for any reason are considered No Shows.

Customers are given notice that three (3) No-Shows in a thirty (30) day period will result in the suspension of services for a period of one (1) month. In the event the problem continues, service can be suspended permanently.
