Rides are available to the general public in and around Kaufman County, Rockwall County, Balch Springs, Mesquite, Seagoville and DeSoto.
STAR Transit is a provider of Medicaid transportation in Kaufman County (Combine, Cottonwood, Crandall, Elmo, Forney, Grays Prairie, Kaufman, Kemp, Mabank, Oak Grove, Oak Ridge, Post Oak Bend, Rosser, Scurry, Talty, Terrell), Rockwall County (Fate, Glen Hill, Heath, McLendon-Chisholm, Mobile City, Rockwall, Royse City), Wills Point, Myrtle Springs, Wise, Alsa, West Tawakoni, Quinlan and Hawk Cove.
Our buses are ADA accessible. Our medical transportation drivers are trained in first aid, CPR and defensive driving to ensure the safety of our riders.
Balch Springs: 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday
Seagoville: Call for availability.
How to Schedule a Ride

To qualify for the senior 60+, veteran and/or disabled fare, you’ll need to go through our qualification process.
A reduced fare ID, exact cash or STAR Transit tickets (One ticket = $1) equaling the fare amount is required each time a customer boards the bus. Drivers are not able to make change.
Tickets can be purchased in the following ways:
- In person at STAR Transit, 500 Industrial Blvd., Terrell, TX 75160 (M-F, 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.)
