STAR Transit posts a wealth of information online, including Board Meeting minutes and/or agendas as well as yearly audits.

How to make a request

There are several ways to request copies of STAR Transit records. You may:

How long will it take?

It really depends on the individual request. If we are unable to provide the documents/information by the 10th business day after the date of receiving the request, you will receive a letter and/or be contacted by the Public Information Officer.

How much will it cost?

Section 552.261 (a) of the Public Information Act allows STAR Transit to recover costs related to reproducing public information. A request for copies that results in more than fifty (50) pages may be assessed charges for labor, overhead, and materials. If the requests allows for charges, you will be contacted with an estimated cost prior to any compiling of information.

Arrangements can be made to come to STAR Transit’s offices to inspect public records between normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you have questions about obtaining public records or about our process, please contact our Public Information Officer, Teresa Elliott at (469)-474-2309 or via email at [email protected].
